Den 1-delte mahogany-hals med SlimTaper™ profil og long neck tenon giver komfort og sustain, mens det bundne rosewood-gribebræt med mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays sikrer klassisk vintage-look. Den 2-delte mahogany-body med SG’s karakteristiske bevels er både elegant og komfortabel. Elektronikken består af to Gibson Custombucker humbuckers med Alnico 3 magneter, håndkablet til CTS potentiometre og Black Beauty papir-i-olie kondensatorer.
